Tamke is one of the first companies in New Jersey to be accredited by the Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA) for adherence to Ethical Business Practices and provision of Quality Services.

The TCIA, a national association with 2,000 member companies, develops safety and education programs and helps to ensure the standards set for the tree care industry. The accreditation is a voluntary process developed to verify “best practices” by tree care companies and to safeguard the consumers. Less than 1% of all tree companies in the country are accredited. Our customers can rest assured that they are receiving the “best of the best” with Tamke.

The accreditation represents those companies that meet TCIA’s highest standards for Ethics, Quality and Confidence. Once approved, the accredited company undergoes an audit every three years which includes: consumer satisfaction, best business practices, business ethics, employee training, safety, quality, industry standards, arborist certifications, insurance coverage, work estimates and specifications. Tamke began its internal process in early January and was approved in August 2005.

We share our pride in this accreditation with all our employees and our customers. We hope that more companies will apply for accreditation.  Too many times we see and hear about improper practices by other tree services. People deserve proper advice and quality service; and our trees deserve the best.
